GATE COAP 2021 Round 2 seat allotment released: The Second round seat allotment offers for GATE 2021 have been released on the official allotment portal. According to the dates provided on the official website, the candidates eligible for the allotment can visit the Common Offer Acceptance Portal from today June 4, 2021, to check the GATE 2021 Round 2 offers made. The offers will be available on the portal until June 6, 2021.
Candidates who have been offered seats as per their options entered are required to Accept and Freeze the allotted seats in case they do not wish to upgrade in the upcoming counselling rounds. The candidates who accept and freeze the allotted seats will not be considered for the further upgrading offers.
The students who wish to retain the seat allotted and wait for further allotment rounds and wish to upgrade in the upcoming allotment rounds can click on the Retain and Wait option provided. Such candidates will not be considered for the other rejected COAP offers in the current allotment round. The existing Retain and Wait offer will be cancelled in case a higher preferred offer is made in the next round to the candidate.
Candidates who do not wish to accept any of the allotted seats under COAP but want to be considered for the upcoming allotments can select the Reject and Wait’ option.
A total of five allotment rounds will be conducted for the admissions. According to the schedule provided the Round 3 of allotment will be conducted from June 11 – 13, 2021 while the Round 4 and 5 of the allotment process will be conducted on June 18 – 20, 2021, and June 25 – 27, 2021 respectively.
The common Offer Acceptance Portal is used for the admissions to the M.Tech seats based on the GATE 2021 examinations.
